The Characters appear in The Monkees video for the song "Heart and Soul".

Joan Jett and Danny:
Joan sings on "Last of a Dyin' Breed" on The Characters CD and Danny is in Joan's video for "I Love Rock n Roll.

  •  Danny appears on the  VH1 Storytellers CD with Ringo Starr! Track 13 "I've Got Blisters... " is Danny and Ringo! On the VH1 special look for Danny, fifteen minutes into the show Danny asks Ringo a question about "Helter Skelter"
  • The Monkees have appeared on stage with The Characters in New Jersey, California, and Chicago.
  • The Characters have appeared in 16 Magazine.
